I forgot to add, maybe a [spot welder] section added to the forum would help some, I have one and like the Chinese plasma cutter I am still trying to learn the process and actual uses for them

Yep, have the Lincoln 225 amp tombstone welder, cant begin to count the farm implements it has repaired over the years, but sense I retired 4 years ago It sets quietly in the corner while I piddly with the 120v mig on my smaller hobby projects

I have a Miller Thunderbolt 225 AC very smooth for AC, I also have the popular Lincoln 225 ac tombstone welder. Strange that both are just AC buzz boxes with only a transformer and switch inside however the Miller is as smooth as a DC, much smoother than the Lincoln. Ain't the leads either...
