Think it was mentioned on the main tractor site, but a link showed up in the facebook feed, so that was easy.

Lawnmower forum, which is kind of funny seeing how most of my tool repair welding is on my lawnmowers, just had to weld the handle on my walk behind back together.

I came from TractorByNet.

I was appalled at first...send people from there, to here, but then I saw it was a Mohamed Site, so I understood. Now I am here.

Like most folks here, I received an email from the LawnMowerForum... which I ignored for 3 weeks because why would the Lawnmower Forum be emailing me, when I was certain that I had opted out of being contacted by email for any advertising purposes, including advertising a new forum, and in fact never had been contacted by Lawnmower forum over many years of membership there.

However, just the other day a devisive moderator on a different welding forum demonstrated one possible reason (among many, not just due to him) why a lot of old timers abandoned that forum, and there and then I decided to leave that forum too (after being an original member, since the beginning of 2004). Then I remembered that email from Lawnmower forum, and decided to join here today. Serendipitous timing.

Feel free to invite your friends!

We will be doing a big promo in may in hopes of drawing new members in to get the knowledge and experience base larger.

I just did a search on Taptalk for "welding" forums and it popped up. I joined pretty quickly once I saw there's quite a few like me just tinkering and trying go get better. Good info from experienced members. Always good to have a resource like this when you need the help.
