Welding helmet

Hello,
My head size is 6-3/4 and the helmet at work drives me crazy so now I have a welder of my own I would like to find a manufacturer that makes a helmet for a smaller head size. Even wearing a ball cap backwards bugs me and the helmet doesn’t fit good. Thanks for any info

I use the HTP Striker Supreme XL Carbon Fiber Auto Darkening Welding Helmet

It has a very wide adjustment range, all the desirable features and a fair price. That being said, there are new helmets being introduced all the time. I'm afraid there's no substitute for just hard shopping.

Yep I was looking at the ones in the store and all of them were in heavy molded plastic . I could not just open and look at them. Hopefully if I can go to a welding supply store maybe they might have some hanging on the wall.

ou will pay more at a LWS but they will maybe let you try on what they have. Likely though, all they will have is premium brands like Miller and Hobart which will likely be in the $400 range. You can get a good helmet in auto-dark for around 25% of that cost if you shop on line.

Might look for a helmet brand with headgear like this for a better fit,
