I compete in Vintage motorcycle trials, I ride a 1980 SWM TL320 (Rotax powered). My muffler started rattling, one of the baffles came loose. New mufflers are nonexistent so I cut it open with my Primeweld plasma cutter and welded it with my Hobart 210MVP. Came out better than I thought.

Mufflers.
For snow sleds.
Back then, I used .an empty propane canister and to weld flex pipe for the inlet and outlets.
That DIY cure did not sound ant worst that the factory.
OK, not OSHA tested but it worked!
