When I got the little kubota tractor, it had a piece of c-channel bolted on the front as a makeshift bumper. Due to lack of radiator protection, the radiator was damaged when I got it and the tractor overheated. After replacing the radiator I decided to build a proper bumper that I could easily put on and take off using just two wrenches and the cherry picker. I used C channel to extend it out a bit, then some scrap solid flat bar telecom tray to build a radiator protector. I added the D ring and chain hook so I can hook on and pull stuff with it if ever needed.
Over the past year I have been happy with it, still wanting to add some storage to it somehow so I can carry tools and 3 point pins.
I know some people like having a trailer ball on the front, I prefer to just have one on the box blade.
The kubota has been getting its work this winter pulling the log splitter around and moving square bales for my wife's goats.
