I just had to do some mode on mind because I just added a quick hitch on my 3 point .That 3 point is a great thing.

A 3 point quick hitch is a wonderful thing. Trade out implements literally in seconds. Set up all the rear tools with pins for the quick hitch. F09437F5-4DC1-40CD-83A8-1B66D7D9B270.jpegI also keep the tow hitch attached.

The main problem I have run into is many implements have a support piece welded in place too close to the top hook, so it’s near impossible to quick attach. I’ll weld a cross support in place at least 8-10” down, then cut off the top support and put a heavy thru bolt with a piece of steel pipe for the top hook.

You did the same, relocate the attachment points to make it easy to hook onto your implements. I tried to find a couple pics to show how nice it is to open up the top hook area for ease of hook upA804E22A-ED20-4BAA-B4FB-E028DDB0630D.png1522264E-891D-46AB-AE95-B6E34532D538.png4795FF8B-EC3A-4222-A757-60D7C16DB39F.png

I built the same. Always on my tractor.

I have something similar but mounted on a 300 lb elevator weight that also acts as my counterweight on my CUT.
The elevator weight is real handy as it is 'tucked in' close thus adding little or no overhang and that coupled with tires juice filled works just great.

The added weight with filled tires makes such a difference. I added 2” rear wheel spacers. You really notice the little extra width too.

Yup.... found a 150 lbs barbell set as scrap and bolted it to my home-built hitch attachment.... now the FEL on my B5100 doesn't can pick up more w/o lifting the rear wheels ;)

It’s always fun when you scooping up gravel out of a large pile, and you do a nose wheelie, pucker factor
