You can always sell off and switch back or like me, Have both. I keep acetylene for torch welding and critical brazing and spray powder repairs.
That is what I would do if I had the manual dexterity. Unfortunately, TIG and gas welding are out for me. A soldering iron is about as good as it gets when it comes to me using both hands. That's not as complicated or dangerous.

I just watched a video on the spray powder, and I might be able to handle that. I doubt if the equipment would be in my future financially though. For my use of a torch propane would be perfectly fine.

Yep, never hurts to have a backup, which is why I still have that tip in my tool box. I keep propane tanks on hand for my grill, fire pit and back up heat in case of power failure.
