Replaced our steps with a ramp.
Didn't want to do a normal straight ramp. So went with a curved metal frame ramp. Figured a lot of stuff out as I went. Especially for the curve. Father in law is in a wheel chair and I wanted him to come in without assistance. Also a easier way to bring our firewood into the house.

Update, I built it a 3 years ago but in late fall never had a chance to make it as strong as I'd like. So this past weekend I took it mostly apart and added 3 wooden frames underneath fastened the decking to the porch. Painted the sides and metal up as well. Everything is sturdy now.

Hi,

Actually i never thought of that till last week after redoing it - and i'm not 1/12 pitch compliant - i'm 1/6 pitch if that makes sense.
I'm 18" high and it curves out to almost 10'
My father in law has a motorized chair and is able to go up and down, but a little tippy at the end - will have to fix that i'm sure.
