So I welded a pretty thin walled 3/16 tube on the cutting edge of an old atv plow. in my experience they really do a great job to prevent lawn damage and digging gravel when the ground is softer. Anyways a good friend gave me a bunch of old 8018 rod i already hard faced the tube but curious before i use it on other things if its worth my time to continue using it for hard facing old ground engaging implements etc? 8018 was free.
