I do agree with you. Since you have been a professional welder would you check out the (primeweld) welder it is a 110/220 stick, flux core, also gas, with twico mig gun, and comes with a spool gun for aluminum. All for $500. I used a neighbor's on 220 volt and he was running it on a 30 amp...
