Spent most of my years in workshops mainly fiddling with mechanical things. Was taught the basics of stick welding but have always had proper certified expert welders around who did Mig,Tig, oxy, stick so never needed to weld.

Now live on a remote rural property and can stick weld OK but far from expertly.
