Years ago (1969-70) I had a hitch made so ai might take my Triumph 250 with me to Florida - towed behind my 1967 Opel Kadett L. The 'hitch' was, essentially, an axel that teh front fork bolted onto after removing the front wheel and tire from the bike. Worked like a charm (I was a bit younger and stronger then) except it was a bit awkward mounting and dismounting (I think).

Your's is a feat of engineering providing your bike a much smoother journey than my solution did. I may have actually invented the approach I used - 'cause I've never seen another one!
