Here is a field goal post I fabricated for my son when he was in 8th grade kicking for the school team... Tommy kicked a 35 yard field goal in 8th grade, a 42 yard goal in 9th grade and he kicked a 55 yard goal in a game his senior year... The high school goal is 23' 6". The pro goal is 18' 6". I made the uprights 16'6", so the school uprights would be a much bigger opening than the one at home he practices on... We moved out to the country in 2014 and the buyer did not want me to take it down.... Save me some work and I have driven by recently and the goal is still up... My son has good memories of long days and nights practicing... Anything worth while takes effort...??? He played college ball too...
