I resize and compress all my pictures before uploading. File sizes are getting huge in the name of quality. I won't knock quality, but when a file can be 10% the size, and have virtually no visible difference, I see no need to waste the bandwidth.

To state the obvious, this is why many places place a limit on file sizes.

The site should automatically resize the pics. I already sent a message to MC as another member was saying the same thing.
Can you tell us what resolution the pic was you were trying to load (Dimensions 800x640) or whatever?

Trying a 2592x1944

OK...says too large. That is an old pic that I took years ago with a camera. Now, I take pcs with my phone and email them to myself to get on computer. When emailing, it asks me what size I want and I say medium, that makes it a good size to post.

I don't use the computer to post pictures Harry. I use the phone to post pictures and most written posts. Only use the computer if i'm in the garage.

Hey Noel, I was just able to load pics of my welder in the Lincoln welder forum. MC changed the sizing.

I built it in the early 90s....I cut the frame and welded a Chevy Nova frame clip into it. Drove it all over for 20 years.......Sold it a few years ago.

Pretty sweet truck Harry! I bet the owner now is glad you were willing to sell it! I should update my '55 GMC but then I think that it won't feel like 1955 any more if I do. I like the time machine feel.
